Returns Procedure
GENERAL
In general Future Garments Limited will do its utmost to ensure that your Purchase Orders are satisfied correctly, thereby avoiding the necessity and inconvenience of having to return goods and await the issue of a Credit Note.
In the event you find that you wish to return products to us, then this must be notified to our Customer Services Department within 7 working days from delivery.
All goods returned (unless faulty) must be in pristine condition and returned in the original packaging. On telephoning or e-mailing our Customer Services department to initiate the returns process, you will be advised of a Customer Query reference number which will be used to trace the status of your query.
Arrangements will be made to either collect or for you to return the goods to our warehouse. These arrangements will be confirmed / agreed with you prior to return of the products concerned.
Upon return and following inspection where applicable, a Credit Note will be issued. If payment for the original goods has been made by Credit or Purchase card, then refund of the Credit Note issued will be returned to the same card
(A) Goods supplied which are not faulty but do not conform to your Purchase Order
Goods will be credited in full subject to the condition of the products upon return.
(B) Goods supplied which are not faulty and conform to your Purchase Order
(i) Goods supplied which are core stock items, can be returned, subject to our standard re stocking charge of 15% and where appropriate a card handling fee of 3%.
In addition if we arrange collection this cost will be passed on to the customer. These charges will be deducted from the Credit Note issued to you upon return and inspection.
(ii) Goods supplied which are non core stock items and may have been manufactured to the customer specifications can not be returned for credit.
(iii) Goods purchased directly to meet your order can only be returned subject to our ability to return those same goods to our Supplier. The level of Credit to be applied will be advised upon request. We will do our utmost to return the goods to our supplier for credit , however in the event our supplier will not accept the returned products, then we in turn can not accept the return from you the Customer.
(C) Faulty Goods
We take the utmost care in ensuring our products conform to the appropriate standards, however in the event of product failure, and then we will take the necessary steps to return the products to our Technical Services team who will determine the cause of the fault, and issue a report accordingly.
Products failing to conform to the appropriate standards will be credited in full.
Future Garments Ltd will not be held responsible in any way for product failure resulting from misuse or failure to follow the user instructions by the customer.
Replacement Goods
Owing to the potential timing difference between the return of goods and sending out of replacements, it is our policy to charge for all replacement goods shipped, irrespective of the reason for replacement, and issue Credit upon return of the original goods by the Customer. This may involve taking further payments and subsequent refunds back to the Credit / Purchase Card.
Returns procedures
Should you need to return goods for any reason, please contact our Customer Services Department on 0121 555 7167. You will be provided with a reference for your specific query which must be quoted on all subsequent correspondence.
A Returns Note quoting this reference will be provided by fax or email, with full details of the products to be returned together with concise instructions regarding the return of products. Please ensure the goods are packaged securely and a copy of the Returns Note is sent with the goods. Goods returned without a Returns Note, will undoubtedly result in a delay in the query being resolved.
Where goods are supplied incorrectly by Future Garments Limited, we will endeavour to arrange a collection within 3 working days unless otherwise agreed with the customer. In the event goods are being returned which were correctly supplied by Future Garments Ltd., you should arrange return of those products at your own expense. We will however arrange collection should you request it. The cost will be advised at the time.
Faulty or damaged products returned will be passed to our Quality Control department for inspection. We aim to provide a QC report within 7 to 10 working days, however in the event the fault necessitates us to use external test houses; you will be advised of the outcome on receipt of the test house report.
